FCC Approves New Broadband Regulations with 3-2 Vote
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has given the green light to fresh broadband rules, with the caveat that they may be short-lived if Congress doesn’t take action to prolong their validity.
The vote was split along party lines, with Democrats Jessica Rosenworcel, Geoffrey Starks, and Anna Gomez in favor, while Republicans Brendan Carr and Nathan Simington opposed the measure.
