Telegram âBusiness offers a range of customizable âoptions, such as:
- Setting business âhours and location on a map
- Customizing the âstart page for empty chats with â˘text and stickers
- Using preset “quick replies” with formatting, links, media, stickers,â and files
- Creating custom greeting messages for⣠new and returning customers

Seamless Customer Interaction and AI Integration
Businesses can create links that instantly open a Telegram chatâ with a specific request, such as tracking an order or reserving a table. Telegram founder Pavel Durov has hinted at upcoming âAI-powered chatbots for business users in future updates.
Competingâ with Meta’s Apps⢠andâ Apple⢠Messages for Business
Telegram Business aims to challenge the âdominance of Meta’s apps like â¤Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp in the business communication⢠market. Even Apple has a small â˘presence in this space â˘with its Apple Messages for Business, used by companies â˘such as Shopify, Aramark, Four Seasons, and others.
Accelerating âGrowth and Profitability
Telegram Premium, which costs â$4.99 âŁper month on âŁiOS andâ Android, has seen ârapid growth in subscribers, â¤reaching 5 million in âŁJanuary 2024. âTelegram Business â¤is expected to further boost âPremium âsubscriptions as the company aimsâ to become profitable byâ 2025, leading âup to a âfutureâ IPO.
Ad Revenue Sharing âProgram Launched
In addition to Premium subscriptions, Telegram generates revenue through Telegram Ads. The company has ârecently launched an⤠ad revenue sharing program using toncoin, a token on the TON blockchain. Public channels with at least 1,000 subscribers can now generate 50% of the revenue from ads shown in their channels.
Telegram aims to launch AI-poweredâ chatbots â¤for business users.
As Telegram continues to innovate and expand its offerings, it isâ positioning itself as⤠a strong competitor âŁin the business communication and messaging market.
