The Browser Company Secures $50 Million in Funding, Valuing the Startup at $550 Million
The Browser Company, the creators of the innovative Arc browser, has successfully raised $50 million in a funding round spearheaded by Pace Capital. This investment brings the company’s total valuation to an impressive $550 million, as exclusively reported by The Zero Byte.

Founded in 2019 by Josh Miller, former director of product at the White House during the Obama administration, and Hrush Agrawal, co-founder of Branch.com (acquired by Facebook in 2014), The Browser Company has amassed a total of $128 million from prominent investors such as Jeff Weiner (LinkedIn), Ev Williams (Medium), Dylan Field (Figma), Akshay Kothari (Notion), and Jason Warner (GitHub).
The Rise of Arc Browser
Arc browser has garnered attention for its unique features, including command bar navigation, pinned tabs, and separate workspaces for work and personal browsing. Initially available on an invite-only basis for Mac users, the company opened up downloads for all users in July 2023 and began offering a Windows client through a closed beta program.
