Linktree Rolls Out New Features to Enhance User Experience
Linktree, the popular link-in-bio platform, has announced a set of new features aimed at improving user experience and providing more customization options. These updates include a featured layout for highlighting important links, the ability to showcase recent Instagram posts, and support for a larger, more prominent profile picture.
Featured Layout for Emphasizing Key Links
The newly introduced featured layout allows users to draw attention to specific links on their Linktree profile. When a link is set to “Featured layout,” it automatically expands and displays a content preview for links from popular platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Spotify, and Instagram. This feature enables users to showcase their most important content and engage their audience more effectively.
Seamless Integration with Instagram Posts and Reels
Building upon its previous update in January, which enabled users to automatically fetch their latest posts from YouTube and TikTok, Linktree has now extended this functionality to Instagram. Users can now showcase up to six of their most recent Instagram posts and Reels directly on their Linktree profile, providing a seamless way to share their content across multiple platforms.
Bigger, Bolder Profile Pictures
Linktree has also introduced support for larger profile pictures, allowing users to display a more prominent image that complements their page’s color scheme. This update replaces the small, circular profile picture with a bigger, more eye-catching visual that helps users stand out and create a stronger brand identity.
Introducing Text Links for Additional Information
The new “Text Links” feature enables users to display text-based information on their Linktree profile. This feature is particularly useful for sharing detailed bios, opening hours, or any other information typically found on a blog. By incorporating Text Links, users can provide their audience with more context and relevant details without cluttering their profile with excessive links.
Linktree’s Growing Presence and Social Commerce Initiative
With over 47 million users on its platform, Linktree continues to expand its reach and explore new opportunities. Earlier this month, the company launched its social commerce program in alpha, partnering with renowned brands such as Sephora, Revolve, and Urban Outfitters. As part of this initiative, Linktree will offer creators attractive commission rates ranging from 12 to 15% through affiliate links, further empowering them to monetize their content and engage with their audience.
