Introduction

Apple has announced the list of devices‌ compatible with its new Apple Intelligence suite ‍of AI tools. Unfortunately, many older ⁢iPhones are ‌not included.

Supported Devices

iPhones

Only the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will support Apple Intelligence when it launches in beta. Older models,‍ including the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, will not have access⁤ to these new AI features. There are no current plans to support devices like the iPhone 14 Pro Max or earlier.

iPads and Macs

Good news for ‌iPad and Mac users: any‍ iPad with an M1 chip or newer, and any Mac running on M1 silicon ⁤or above,⁤ will be⁤ compatible with Apple Intelligence. This means that when iPadOS 18 and macOS Sequoia are released, these devices will be able to utilize the new‍ AI capabilities.

Language Requirement

To use the new⁤ version of ⁤Siri​ with its enhanced conversational and contextual skills, ‍users will need to set their device to US English initially.

Features and Capabilities

Apple Intelligence, set to launch this autumn with iOS ‍18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia, ​will introduce a range of AI-powered features. These include:

• Generative AI for Images: Create images⁣ using AI that can be shared via the Messages app or other Apple ​applications.
