A Reimagined Classic: The Revived DeLorean Dream Car

In the midst of the pandemic’s restrictions in Spain during the autumn of 2020, Ángel Guerra found himself restless and creatively inspired. He turned to his computer and began sketching out a vision of his ultimate dream car. The digital rendering that emerged paid homage to the iconic 1980s original, the DeLorean, while incorporating a few contemporary twists.

Iconic Elements Meet Modern Touches

Guerra’s reimagined DeLorean retained the vehicle’s most recognizable features, such as the gull-wing doors, stainless-steel exterior, louver blades adorning the rear window, and the bold black side stripe. However, he also made some updates to bring the car into the 21st century. The sharp, origami-like angles were smoothed out, the body was widened, and the wheel arches were extended to accommodate larger rims and tires.

After dedicating two weeks to refining his dream car design, Guerra was satisfied with the result. He decided to share his creation with the world by posting it on Instagram, curious to see how others would react to his modern take on the beloved DeLorean.
