Availability and Requirements

Limitations and Premium Features

While the majority of these AI-powered tools will be available to all Google Photos users without the need for a Google One subscription, there are some limitations. Magic Editor, for instance, will be fully accessible on all Pixel devices, but iOS and Android users will be limited to 10 Magic Editor saves per month. To unlock unlimited saves, users will need to subscribe to a Premium Google One plan with 2TB of storage or more.

Certain features, such as the AI-powered Best Take, which intelligently merges similar photos to create the perfect shot where everyone is smiling, will remain exclusive to the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro devices.
